Manitoba Immigration PNP Points Calculator 2020 (For MPNP Eligibility)
MPNP is designed on the lines of the Federal Express Entry program. It also follows a similar points-based assessment system, which assesses your profile on five factors and assigns a score out of a total of 100 points.

You need a minimum of 60 points on the MPNP Point Assessment Grid to be eligible under this stream for nomination.

This EOI ranking is applicable for:
- MPNP Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream

How many points do I need for Manitoba PNP in 2020?
You need to score at least 60 points out of 100 on the MPNP Point Assessment Grid (or the MPNP Point Calculator for Eligibility). Only with 60 or more points will you be allowed to make an EOI to Manitoba immigration.
Once you make an EOI profile, you will be given points out of 1000 and ranked in the EOI pool of candidates using MPNP EOI Ranking System (or MPNP Point Calculator for Nomination).
How should I apply for immigration to Manitoba through MPNP 2020?
To apply for immigration to the MPNP in 2020, you have to follow three steps:
- Make an Expression of Interest
- Create an account with the Govt. of Manitoba and follow instructions to create an EOI Profile.
- To make an EOI, you must score at least 60 points out of 100 on the MPNP point assessment grid.
Highest Ranking EOI Profiles that show a connection with Manitoba are invited to submit an application to MPNP for nomination.
- They are given a Letter of Advice to Apply or LAA.
- You should make your MPNP application within 60 days of receiving the LAA.
Once MPNP receives your application, it assesses it thoroughly. On being selected, MPNP nominates you by sharing an Approval Letter.
- It then advises you to apply to IRCC for Canada Permanent Resident Visa.
- With the PR Application made as a Manitoba Nominee, once you get your Canada PR visa, you are obligated to work and settle in Manitoba.
How does Manitoba PNP work?
MPNP Point Assessment Grid
Manitoba PNP works on the lines of the Federal Express Entry system and decides the eligibility of the candidates based on a similar 100 points-based assessment grid.
It has three major streams.
- MPNP Skilled Worker stream
- MPNP International Education Stream
- MPNP Business Investor Stream
Expression of Interest
- The immigration aspirants that score 60/100 points on the grid and precise other minimum requirements per their MPNP stream need to make an EOI to Govt. of Manitoba.
Issuance of Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA)
- Within 60 days of receiving the LAA, you must apply to MPNP for the Manitoba nomination.
Procedural Fairness Process
- Rather than directly rejecting your application, a Fairness Letter is shared where the MPNP has queries or concerns about your application. They offer you an opportunity to make it useful.
Sharing or Withdrawal of Nomination
- Once you are nominated as an MPNP Nominee, you must complete an application for Canada PR to IRCC within 60 days.
- MPNP may withdraw your nomination any time before you get your Canada PR Visa for reasons like you are not deemed to work and stay in Manitoba, or they discover false or incomplete information in your application, etc.
Canada PR Application
- Once you get your MPNP Nomination, you must apply to IRCC for Canada PR Visa. IRCC reserves the right to grant or reject your Canada PR Visa.
- Once you get your Canada PR Visa, you need to notify MPNP of the same.

How much IELTS score required for Manitoba PNP Canada?
CLB 4 or higher in English as the 1st official language.
