How does Manitoba PNP work?

MPNP Point Assessment Grid

Manitoba PNP works on the lines of the Federal Express Entry system and decides the eligibility of the candidates based on a similar 100 points-based assessment grid.

It has three major streams.

  • MPNP Skilled Worker stream
  • MPNP International Education Stream
  • MPNP Business Investor Stream

Expression of Interest

Issuance of Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA)

  • Within 60 days of receiving the LAA, you must apply to MPNP for the Manitoba nomination.

Procedural Fairness Process

  • Rather than directly rejecting your application, a Fairness Letter is shared where the MPNP has queries or concerns about your application. They offer you an opportunity to make it useful.

Sharing or Withdrawal of Nomination

  • Once you are nominated as an MPNP Nominee, you must complete an application for Canada PR to IRCC within 60 days.
  • MPNP may withdraw your nomination any time before you get your Canada PR Visa for reasons like you are not deemed to work and stay in Manitoba, or they discover false or incomplete information in your application, etc.

Canada PR Application

  • Once you get your MPNP Nomination, you must apply to IRCC for Canada PR Visa. IRCC reserves the right to grant or reject your Canada PR Visa.
